Dr Steve Cooke is an Associate Professor of Political Theory at the University of Leicester. He specializes in justice for nonhuman animals and in the ethics of different forms of protest and activism.
Dr. Cooke has also submitted written evidence to the UK Parliament on the moral status of nonhuman animals, the ethics of farming and animal husbandry practices, and the place of nonhuman animals within political communities 3.
